You can delete your Tahanan account from the mobile app or from the website. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete your account in the mobile app
- Open the Tahanan app on iOS or Android.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the warning and tap Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your account email address.
- Tap Delete Account to confirm.
Delete your account on the website
- Sign in to your account at tagalogapp.com/auth/sign-in.
- Open Account Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Select Delete your Account.
- Complete email verification with the 6-digit code sent to your account email address.
- Confirm Delete your Account.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes your personal account and associated Tahanan data, including:
- Learning progress
- Flashcard reviews and streaks
- Practice sessions
- Account settings
Important notes
- If you own an active family plan, you may need to cancel it or let it end before deleting your account.
- Account deletion is separate from app uninstalling. Removing the app from your device does not delete your account.
- If you cannot sign in or do not see the delete option, email support@tagalogapp.com from the email address on your account.

Contact us at support@tagalogapp.com and include the email address for the account you want deleted. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.
